# Introduction

> What Grovs does: links, analytics, engagement, revenue and data, from one SDK and one dashboard.

Source: https://docs.grovs.io/docs/getting-started/introduction

Grovs is one SDK and one dashboard for growing a mobile app or website. A link brings someone to your app. The SDK tells you where they came from and what they do. Push and in-app messages bring them back. Grovs is open source, and runs on Grovs Cloud or your own servers.

## Five products

**[Links](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/links).** One link that opens your app on iOS and Android, and a web page everywhere else. If the app isn't installed, the link goes to the store and the SDK delivers its data after install (deferred deep linking). Serve links from your own domain, and show a smart banner on your mobile website.

**[Analytics](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/analytics).** Installs, reinstalls, opens and reactivations, traced to the link, campaign or ad that brought them. Custom events and screen views from the SDK, your own dashboards, and segments of users by what they did.

**[Engagement](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/engagement).** Push campaigns and in-app messages built in the dashboard, journeys that send them in steps, and experiments that measure what works.

**[Revenue](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/revenue).** Purchases from the App Store, Google Play and your own payments, validated and attributed to the links that brought the buyer.

**[Data](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/data).** Analytics and purchase events, read by your own server from the event stream.

Engagement, segments, revenue and the event stream run on Grovs Cloud and on self-hosted Enterprise.

## How it fits together

1. You [create a project](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/getting-started/quickstart) and set its [redirect rules](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/getting-started/project-setup).
2. You add the SDK to your app or site. It opens links, reports installs and events, and shows messages.
3. You create links in the dashboard, through the [REST API](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/api-reference), or in the app with the SDK.
4. You read the results in the dashboard and act on them with campaigns.

## Build with AI

[Connect the Grovs MCP server](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/ai/mcp/introduction) to Claude, Cursor, VS Code or ChatGPT to create links and read analytics from chat. Or give a coding agent [a prompt](https://docs.grovs.io/docs/ai#let-an-agent-integrate-the-sdk) that adds the SDK for you.

## Self-hosting
