ChatGPT
Add Grovs to ChatGPT so you can manage links and pull analytics from a chat.
Add the Grovs MCP server to ChatGPT and you can create deep links, pull analytics, and change project settings from any conversation.
Custom MCP connectors require a ChatGPT Plus or Pro plan and are currently part of the Developer Mode beta. Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans also support connectors when enabled by an admin.
Prerequisites
- A ChatGPT Plus or Pro account
- A Grovs account with at least one project
Setup
Enable Developer Mode
In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and toggle Developer Mode to on.
This unlocks the ability to add custom MCP connectors. You only need to do this once.
Add the Grovs connector
Go back to Settings → Apps & Connectors and click Add new connector (or + Add).
Fill in the form:
- Name:
Grovs - MCP Server URL:
https://mcp.grovs.io/mcp - Authentication:
OAuth
Click Create (or Connect).
Authorize access
ChatGPT opens an authorization window:
- Log in to your Grovs account if prompted
- Review the permissions and click Authorize
- The window closes and ChatGPT confirms the connection
Start using Grovs
In any conversation, enable the Grovs connector from the chat tools menu, then try:
- "Show me my Grovs projects"
- "Create a smart link for the landing page"
- "What are the analytics for my top links?"
ChatGPT will use the Grovs tools to fulfill your request.
If you are self-hosting Grovs, replace mcp.grovs.io with your own MCP subdomain.
Managing the Connection
Open Settings → Apps & Connectors, click the Grovs connector, and select Disconnect or Remove.
You can also revoke access from the Grovs dashboard — see Revoking access.
