Custom Domains
Serve your Grovs links from your own branded subdomain, with SSL included.
A custom domain replaces the default *.sqd.link host with a subdomain you own, such as links.acme.com. It requires an active paid subscription; see Plans and billing.
Where to find it
Go to Links → Link Settings → Domain. It offers two options:
| Action | What it does | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Use your own subdomain | Serve new links from a branded subdomain you control. | Use your own subdomain |
| Migrate from another platform | Move a Branch or AppsFlyer subdomain to Grovs so old links keep working. Also requires a paid plan. | Migration guides |
How it works
The subdomain attaches to your project through Cloudflare for SaaS.
- SSL is included. Grovs issues the certificate through DNS (TXT) validation, before any traffic moves.
- No downtime. Links keep resolving on their current host until DNS points the new hostname at Grovs.
- Automatic fallback. New links resolve on your host. If you remove it, links fall back to your
*.sqd.linksubdomain.
Plans and billing
Without an eligible plan, the dashboard shows "Using your own subdomain requires a paid plan." Click View plans or open Settings → Usage & Billing to subscribe, then return to Links → Link Settings → Domain. Contact us in the same dialog answers plan questions.
If your subscription lapses, you have a 7-day grace period. After it, Grovs removes the domain and links fall back to your *.sqd.link subdomain.
